NIASS MAYOR “A GEM FROM THE MUD”. Super Talented Artist “Niass Mayor “ with his full name as Ismail Mayowa Ahmed , developed great interest in music while in senior secondary school, he attended Lagos State Model College Kankon Badagry, where he joined a musical band of five, named as "KMA" which was created/formed by Boy Spyce back in 2017.
His first ever song composition came with quite a recognition.
• Criticism from his friends and schoolmate which later earned him popularity amidst his peers.
• Parent objection to support his career at the early begining of his career at first because they see music as worldly occupation according to their own beliefs.
After graduating senior secondary school in 2018, Niass Mayor relentlessly proved his parent and every other people with the passion, love and energy he puts into his music career.
He recorded his first song with the financial assistance of his sister and did several covers of hit and trending songs in the country as at that time in 2018.
He dropped his first personal project in 2019 with series of musical videos with the financial and moral support of his said benefactor, his dad tenant "ID" as he fondly calls him but when his helper got married, he couldn't fully cater for Niass studio and promotion expenses which was unarguably understandable.
Fast forward to 2020, Niass Mayor opted to learn the trade of printing & press which he graduated in 2022, during the process he still didn't back out of hid music as he consistently cintunues to compose abd write songs. After gaining ultimate knowledge and understanding about his trade, he decided to pursue his music career full time .
At the end of 2023, he dropped his first official single featuring "OTEGA" titled "JEALOUSY" gaining over than fifty thousand (50,000) all round streams on all digital music platforms, which aided his journey back into music. In anticipation to drop his next hit single this year titled "LIGHT" , Niass Mayor wants all his fans to stay in vibrant anticipation of his forthcoming release.
