Thierry Henry has hinted that Manchester United will end Manchester City’s winning run and deny Pep Guardiola’s men a Premier League record at Old Trafford in Sunday’s derby.

The Premier League leaders are looking to record a 14th successive top-flight win to surpass the previous record of 13 wins on the bounce held by Arsenal and Chelsea.
Manchester City are sitting eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table following an impressive return of 14 victories and one stalemate in their opening 15 games.
Pep Guardiola’s side have already beaten Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool this season but Manchester City will face their biggest test of the 2017-18 season at Old Trafford this weekend.
Manchester United were 3-1 winners against title rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium last weekend thanks to goals from Antonio Valencia and Jesse Lingard.
The Red Devils famously ended Arsenal’s unbeaten run at 49 games following a 2-0 victory over Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles at Old Trafford back in October 2004.
Henry was part of the Arsenal team that lost to Sir Alex Ferguson’s side having won the 2003-04 Premier League crown without losing a top-flight fixture.
And the Arsenal legend has warned Manchester City that Manchester United could end another run at Old Trafford in the derby on Sunday afternoon.
“It always happens,” Henry told Sky Sports.
“When a team is about to break a record, you always play your rival. I know. Arsenal lost it at Old Trafford. It always you have show it at your rival.”
