Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has issued warnings to Manchester United about their defensive approach ahead of the Manchester derby at the Old Trafford on Sunday in the Premier League, according to report.
Jesus was impressed by Manchester United’s win over Arsenal in the last weekend’s game but the Brazilian forward was of the opinion that Jose Mourinho’s men could play into City’s favour if they applied the same tactics used against the Gunners.
He told Sport360: “It's going to be a good match, a big match, between big players from big clubs. I don't believe United will play defensively because just like us they need the result.
“If United play like they did against Arsenal, that will make it an open game and that will suit us. We have to be clear, we're going there to try to win."
Jesus has been in fine form since his arrival to England and could as well prove his worth on Sunday evening when he faces a disciplined Manchester United at the Old Trafford.
