Davido who is an ardent fan of Cristiano Ronaldo took to his Instagram page to felicitate with the football star alongside his 5.4 million followers who kept on pouring congratulatory


messages on the singers page on behalf of the footballer.

The Nigerian singer fans the footballer that he once featured his name in one his hit singles titled, "Fall" which prompted the Ronaldo to follow him on Instagram after hearing his name


mentioned in the song. 

At the ceremony, Ronaldo received the most votes as the best player in the world and edged Lionel Messi and Neymar to the prestigious award. It was his fifth Ballon d'Or title equalling Lionel Messi.
